Library System adds Easy Access to Classic E-Book Texts to their Online Catalog! The Library System of Lancaster County is pleased to announce the addition of over 400 records for classic, digitized texts to their online catalog made available by the Project Gutenberg website.  Read more to find out how you can access them! 

Manheim Township Public Library to Host Holiday Art Show Featuring Student Works! The Holiday Art Shows also includes a special exhibit in the Morgan Center by students from the Millersville University Art Department entitled “From Realism to Abstraction”. Artist’s Reception on Wednesday, November 30 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm at the library is free and open to the public.  

Five Below® Holiday Fundraiser for Public Libraries Starts December 3rd!   Help us raise funds for children’s library programs. It’s easy to participate!  See your local librarian for a special flyer for Five Below® stores. Bring the flyer with you when you shop beginning Saturday, December 3rd through Friday, December 23. Public Libraries encourage giving with the 12th Annual Mitten Tree Project!  Public Libraries throughout Lancaster County will hold their 12th annual Mitten Tree Campaign starting on Monday, November 21.  Librarians from the county’s public libraries, in the spirit of holiday giving, will be collecting new mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, earmuffs and umbrellas that will benefit children & families served by Lancaster County Children & Youth Services.  Read more to find the list of  participating libraries…
